My three obsessions have always been Lucille Ball, New York City, and The Beatles. I act cause nothing is more fun than playing someone else. I write cause this whole thing of - only 12% of roles written are for women - is bullshit. I solve all problems with coconut oil and never trust anyone who shops at Talbots. I’m a vegetarian living in the Meatpacking district watching Pastis turn into Restoration Hardware…The Hotel (sigh).

As the whitest Mexican you’ll ever meet, I don’t speak Spanish but I do crave nachos at mealtime. Born and raised in Dallas/Fort Worth, I received a BFA in theater with a minor in dance from Stephen F. Austin and spent a season acting in shows at Milwaukee Repertory Theater before settling into Manhattan.

Spent two years on tour with Wild Animus, four years improvising to over 10,000 audience members in Accomplice New York and Accomplice The Village. And had a blast doing shows at Upright Citizen’s Brigade as well as many other theaters about town. Started working on TV as a model for The View, in small roles on the soaps, and recently got stabbed on Blue Bloods.

In between there were many roles in indie films, including The Perfect Witness with Mark Borkowski and Wes Bentley. Became great friends with Mark who encouraged me to start writing. Produced a series of short plays at The Bridge: two originals by Yours Truly and ones by talented writers, Mark Borkowski and Kayla Cagan. Developed a full-length play at The Actor’s Studio, some short plays for various groups, and a comedy sketch for the hunky stars of Days of Our Lives.
Today I’m developing what I think is my ultimate life’s work, a comedy series based on real life struggles with the biological clock called, Tick Tock. Co-created it with my incredibly talented girlfriends, Cristina Doikos and Judy Jerome. We have a pilot script, second episode script, sizzle reel, pitch packet, season arc and series arc ready to go…and are on the hunt for the right home. You can learn all about it at TickTockSeries.com.

I’m most proud of creating the exact life I always wanted. I’m a full-time actor/writer living in my dream neighborhood with the best husband and the greatest friends. I also have an incredible set of managers at Wright Talent Management and am a proud member of the Playwright/Director’s Workshop at The Actor’s Studio and New York Women in Film & Television.

I love my life, I love my job, and I love this city.
